i chanced upon your website and have read it through.
my kid is eight years old and is myopic, could you please help me with more ways than holding the book at a hands distance, blinking often, looking away while doing close work..as i am already trying to inculcate these habits in him.
for the plus lenses - i have tried using a +2 lens and he reads with them at 12&quot; distance..is that ok? but he doesnt like spending a lot of time (more than 15 min) with them. 
he is an avid reader and mentally very sharp.
i live in india and have no guidance here except for the opthalmologist who recommends constant use of the minus glasses.
he doesnt use his minus glasses as much as possible, and whenever he does its a slightly weaker one.

please please help.
